Lorraine is a freelance journalist with her own bi-monthly newspaper column “New York Gal” in Manhattan Media’s OUR TOWN and THE WEST SIDE SPIRIT. Her work has also appeared in THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE NEW YORK POST, ADWEEK, BIG APPLE PARENT, DIVINECAROLINE.COM, WRITER'S JOURNAL, ELLE and BITCH MAGAZINE. Her background is in advertising, as a freelance copywriter for the entertainment industry. She is currently shopping her novel “Fat Chick”. Her short story, LITTLE BOSS, is being published as part of an anthology edited by The Writer’s Place. Additionally, Lorraine was recently named Humor Writer of the Month by the Erma Bombeck Writer's Workshop.
